As contractors, Century Investors undertook the construction of a base for a coffee silo measuring 10.6 meters in diameter.

The challenge of this project was fitting an appropriately-sized silo base into a tight spot already encompassed by a Dryer, Existing Silo, Elevator Pit and Boundary Wall.
The silo’s 100 tonne payload further emphasized the need to ingeniously yet sturdily construct the Base.

Through excavation, a robust steel framework, back-fill and concreting, we successfully executed our contract to our client, Touton’s satisfaction.
Century Investors completed this project with 19 contract days to spare.
