Our latest collaboration with OLAM LIMITED, a renowned leader in food and agri-business, has been an extraordinary journey aimed at enhancing OLAM’s coffee handling and processing capabilities at their state-of-the-art plant in Namanve Industrial Park.

For over 9 months, our dedicated team has executed a wide range of civil works, meticulously designed to optimize efficiency and elevate OLAM’s operations. Our assignment included casting durable dryer bases and dryer hoppers, constructing elevator pits for seamless vertical transportation, and casting essential components such as huller bases and destoner bases.

We also took care of constructing a grader platform and a gravity table platform, ensuring a smooth workflow within the facility. To enhance accessibility and aesthetics, we carried out surface dressing and tarmacking of the driveway, providing a seamless and welcoming entrance.

Safety and security were paramount considerations. We constructed a robust Guying Pillar to support the elevator, ensuring stability and reliability. Additionally, we fabricated and installed roller shutters and burglar proofing for the new plant frontage while strengthening the front canopy supports.

To meet stringent safety standards, we successfully installed and commissioned an Industrial Fire Fighting System. In the vertical dryer area, our team meticulously executed various civil works, including concrete copings, internal warehouse floor finishes and slopes, and external concrete paving. Notably, we provided a 100mm fire wall constructed with fire bricks containing 70% Aluminum, rated to resist extreme temperatures of up to 1750 °C.
