This role requires someone who is not only knowledgeable in structural design, costing and construction management but is also ready to roll up their sleeves on-site, lead by example, and ensure execution is done right.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least a Diploma in Civil Engineering, Building Construction, or a related field (Degree holders are welcome, but it’s not mandatory)

• Good understanding of structural design principles

• Familiarity with the use of structural design and architectural software (e.g., AutoCAD, Prokon, Revit, or similar)

• Competence in preparing and reviewing Bills of Quantities (BOQs)

• 2+ years of practical construction or engineering experience, especially in a hands-on, field-based role

• Ability to supervise and coordinate on-site work, wherever the project may be in the country

• Strong communication skills in English and at least one local language

• Willingness to work in diverse environments and adapt quickly to new project sites

You should be able to…

• Interpret structural and architectural drawings with accuracy

• Contribute to or lead structural design reviews and value engineering efforts

• Prepare, verify, and revise BOQs and material schedules

• Supervise on-ground construction work to ensure quality and compliance

• Communicate clearly with site teams, clients, and supervisors

• Track progress, flag issues, and generate clear technical reports

• Stay organized under pressure and ensure timelines and budgets are respected

You will be a key technical point of reference, responsible for bridging design and execution. Whether it’s fine-tuning a structural plan, helping price the work, or getting your boots muddy on site—you’ll be central to getting the job done right.
